The four (4) boiler cast iron sections were separated to replace the original gasket and sealing materials between these cast iron sections. The boiler was filled, and a low-pressure hydrostatic test was performed to confirm it was watertight. Tie-rods, nuts, and washers were replaced with new, and the boiler was returned to service.
